Case Study 1:
DC Evaluation to assess the potential productivity gains
to be made through the introduction of an incentive
bonus system for its direct operatives. The study
evaluated the Picking, Packing, Returns, Returns & Q.C.
operations giving guidelines on performance and
recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency.
Case Study 2:
Various assignments, at multiple sites; SmartTime®
and EASEWorks® standards development, methods, layout &
management system review of DC operations. Findings and
recommendations for productivity improvement were
presented to senior management and implemented, with
extensive savings and operational improvements
delivered.

Comprehensive methods and layouts review followed by
complete DC-wide re-measurement and setting of time
standards for the recently acquired contract.

Rating Clinic delivered to ensure the continued
provision of Time Standards by client company personnel

evaluation at Hemel to identify productivity gains and
to establish standard times for a range of operations.

evaluation of operations leading to the development of a
time standards database within a national distribution

Case Study 6:
Recruitment of Continuous Improvement Manager to
head team at major third party logistics operator within
ambient goods sector. Delivery of Rating Clinic, at one
of our strategic Training Facilities and the client is
now both an EASEWorks® and SmartTime® user.
Case Study 7:
DC based work measurement exercises utilising the
Tectime data capture system. Evaluated performance
levels and gave advice upon best policies for
improvement across a number of departments. Conducted an
Evaluation into Methods, Layouts and Time Standards
within Goods Inwards at two sites, in the UK and Europe,
making recommendations for improvements and presenting
the findings to senior management.

operations. Findings and recommendations for
productivity improvement were presented to senior
management.
Case Study 9:
Full evaluation of working practices, methods and
layouts to improve workflow and efficiencies. Associated
projects have included: the delivery of an efficiency
reporting tool; an investigation incentives and re-modeling
exercises; benchmarking & measurement programmes and
productivity uplift and pay-back analysis.
