Inaugural European EASE User Conference
On Friday 5th December 2003 the inaugural European EASE User Conference was hosted by Productivity Solutions Limited at The Cadman Building in the Staffordshire University conference suite.
The conference proved to be a great success with over 30 delegates in attendance from a range of blue chip companies representing industry sectors including Engineering, Logistics, Catering, Public Sector, IT, Business Consultancy, Textiles, Retail, Ceramics, Automotive and Warehousing.
John Wilde opened the conference by outlining the progress being made with EASEworks® in the European market before handing over to Trevor McAlester who then proceeded to review the current position with EASEworks® before discussing the latest developments with particular reference to the ability of EASEworks® to store all documents relating to a process in one location.
John Smith then took the delegates through the improvements to the system that will be incorporated in EASEworks® Version 6.0, which is scheduled for release in Spring of 2004. He then answered questions from the floor from current users before John Wilde closed the conference by thanking all delegates for attending.
John Wilde said “The level of interest in EASEworks® was very encouraging - we intend to make this conference the first of many for our European users. Questions raised by delegates have also prompted us to prepare industry specific EASEworks® seminars, the first of which will be focused upon logistics and is planned for the second quarter of 2004.
